Wong Yuk Hei, Huang Xuxi, or Lucas Wong, was born on January 25th, 1999, in Hong Kong, China. He is a Thai-Chinese singer under the SM Entertainment contract. Lucas passed the SM Global Audition in Hong Kong as a model, then he was incorporated into SM Rookies in 2017 and starred in his partner’s MV “Dream In A Dream” by NCT’s or WayV’s Ten. Lucas first debuted in South Korea as a member of NCT U on February 18th, 2018, then he re-debuted as a member of WayV, the Chinese unit of the boy band NCT on January 17th, 2019, by releasing the “Regular” Chinese version of the song belonging to NCT 127 with the same title. Then, on October 4th, 2019, Lucas re-debuted as a member of SuperM in the United States with the release of a single titled “Jopping.” This group is a Korean pop supergroup formed in 2019 by SM Entertainment and Capitol Music Group. The group consists of seven members from four different boy bands, including Taemin from SHINee, Baekhyun and Kai from EXO, and Taeyong and Mark from NCT 127, and Ten and Lucas from WayV (NCT’s Chinese subunit). Pre-Debut
Before joining SM Entertainment, a netizen shared an interesting video clip on a Twitter account related to Lucas. It appears that Lucas attended the Kim So-hyun’s fan signing event held in Hong Kong before he became a trainee at SM Entertainment. In the video, the 1999-born idol is seen wearing a short blue shirt. He looked shyly saying hello and giving a gift to Kim So-hyun. He waited for the signature of actress Kim So-hyun before she finally left.

SMROOKIES
Precisely on April 6th, 2016, SM Entertainment suddenly released a photo of a guy with the name Lucas as the newest member of SMROOKIES. Fans claim that Lucas is an SM trainee named Yukhei who is already familiar and often seen with other SMROOKIES members. Yukhei, or better known by the name Lucas, is a member born on January 25th, 1999, who came from Hong Kong, China. Lucas auditioned for the SM Global Audition in Hong Kong, China in 2015 and then joined SM Entertainment in early 2016. Lucas was very good at sports and loved computer games. Lucas’s mother is someone who came from Thailand. Lucas successfully passed the SM Entertainment audition by becoming a model. When he joined SMROOKIES, Lucas was initially trained to be a vocalist, but then because of his heavy voice, Lucas was finally trained to become a rapper. NCT
Lucas debuted with 17 other NCT members in early 2018 with a mega project named NCT 2018 by releasing the full album Empathy. Before debuting, Lucas joined SM Entertainment, SMROOKIES, along with Kun and Jungwoo. Lucas officially became a member of NCT by releasing # Yearbook1 in early 2018. Lucas showed off his new style in the “BOSS” single teaser photo (2018). This single is one of the works on the album Empathy belonging to NCT 2018 as well as officially debuting as an idol in South Korea. Together with other members in the unit and the full group NCT, he brought at least three songs for the album. The songs included “BOSS” and “Yestoday” from NCT U including Lucas, Mark, Taeyong, and Doyoung, as well as those performed with eighteen members titled “Black on Black.” For the sake of promoting the album Empathy, Lucas has been a guest star on variety shows. He is even believed to be a permanent member of the Real Man 300 survival program and Law of the Jungle in The Indian Ocean.
