Olivia Hye officially debuted as LOONA members on March 30, 2018, by releasing a single album Olivia Hye with Egoist as the title track. And then, Olivia and the other 11 members of LOONA were held their concert debut on August 19, 2018, with the title LOONAbirth. In LOONA, Olivia is in charge of subvocal, rapper, and dancer. The group LOONA has an exciting concept among other girl groups in South Korea. They were known as a group under Blockberry Creative that introduced their twelve members with an individual or sub-unit project as its way to debut. The concept has been planned from 2014 until 2018 when LOONA finally completed with twelve members. Olivia is also a part of LOONA’s third and final pre-debut sub-unit named LOONA yyxy, consisting of her, Gowon, Chuu, and Yves. The sub-unit released a mini-album entitled beauty&thebeat on March 30, 2018, marked as their debut project.
