The series has a different story, but if you draw the outline of this series, it tells about a police unit assigned to combat crimes that have occurred in Hawaii, where there’s still no official police unit along the island. Daniel Dae Kim joined the series from 2010 until 2017 (from Season 1 – 7) and acted as Detective lieutenant Chin Ho Kelly. He’s a former member of HPD and the protege of McGarrett’s father.
