Nikki Grahame 10 Fast Facts, Biography, Wiki
At the age of 18, Grahame was given breast implants on the NHS, because her years of anorexia had left her flat-chested. In April 2007, Grahame said that she had undergone corrective plastic surgery on her breast implants to fix “ripples” left by the first operation.[44] In October 2011, Grahame confirmed she had relapsed and was suffering from anorexia again, stating she had checked into her 11th institution and weighed 35 kg (77 lb). In March 2021, Grahame’s family announced that she had relapsed again. They stated that she “constantly feels weak and is struggling on a day to day basis”, and explained that she does want to recover, but feels it is “impossible”. They began a GoFundMe fundraiser to pay for private treatment, since the NHS treatments “failed”, and they had “exhausted every avenue possible”. Later that month, Grahame entered a private facility in Devon to receive specialist treatment, where she remained until one day before her death on 9 April 2021 due to complications from anorexia nervosa, at the age of 38. Among those who paid tributes were former Big Brother UK presenter Davina McCall, Big Brother Canada host Arisa Cox, television presenter Paddy McGuinness, and other Big Brother alumni, most notably including Rylan Clark-Neal, Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace, Pete Bennett, Katie Price,[ Imogen Thomas, and Richard Newman. A special tribute to Grahame also aired at the start of Episode 18 of the then airing Big Brother Canada 9. In the week after Grahames death her GoFundMe page was re-opened and fans raised over 70.000 punds towards her funeral. Nikki, Victor Ebuwa and Nick Bateman are the only Ultimate Big Brother housemates to improve on their placement. She was evicted from Big Brother Canada 4 on her 34th birthday. She is the first houseguest who was evicted on her own birthday in the BBCAN history, followed by Sindy Nguyen who returned in Big Brother Canada 5. She is one of four houseguests, along with Mike Malin (BBUS), Janelle Pierzina (BBUS), and Jade Goody (BBUK), to compete on three different seasons. Although she also appeared as a “Time Warp Housemate” on Big Brother 16 (UK), she did not officially compete on this season. Of these 4 houseguests, Nikki is is the only one to not place worse than 6th in any of her seasons, with Janelle placing 12th, Boogie in 10th, and Jade in 9th and quitting the house on day 2 on one of their respective seasons (Jade with 2 respective seasons.) Nikki, along with Dallas Cormier, Ramsey Aburaneh, and Maddy Pavle, voted against the majority more than any other houseguest in Big Brother Canada. They did it three times. Nikki is the second houseguest to be evicted unanimously from Big Brother Canada 4. The first was Maddy Pavle. She, along Nicholas & Philippe Paquette, are the last houseguests to be nominated on Big Brother Canada 4. She was nominated the first time along Nick & Phil on Week 9. Nikki and Raul Manriquez are the only houseguests in Big Brother Canada 4 to be nominated during both parts of a double eviction. Mitchell Moffit and Nikki are the only jurors who have never won a competition. On every season she competed on, at least one person walked from the game. Nikki holds the record for the most appearances, appearing on 4 seasons of Big Brother, along with Janelle Pierzina. If her entering the house during Big Brother 19 (UK) for a single day counts, she has appeared in 5 different seasons of Big Brother. Including her time in Big Brother Canada 4, Nikki has spent the most time out of all the BBUK housemates in the Big Brother house, with a total of 157 days. Nikki along with George Allen Boswell, Tim Dormer, Frankie Grande and Brandi Glanville are the only five houseguests to compete in different seasons of the show. Despite George not competing the UK version of the show, George, Nikki, Frankie, and Brandi all competed with the Big Brother UK (franchise) and Big Brother U.S. (franchise)/Big Brother Canada 4 voting systems, while Tim competed with the Big Brother Australia 10 and Big Brother Canada 4 voting systems Tim and Nikki are the second and third houseguests to accomplish this with George being the first, Frankie being the fourth, and Brandi being the fifth. Nikki is the first Big Brother Canada contestant to pass away after competing.
