On November 14, 2015, five days after the announcement of Somin’s departure from the group, DSP Media announced April’s first single album with the five remaining members. The album contains three songs, and one of them is ‘Muah!’ This song was released on November 25, with the official music video and behind-the-scenes footage, including interviews. This song was about a girl that wishes to kiss her beloved boyfriend but is too shy, so the girl tries to encourage the boy to be the first to do it.
Tinker Bell
In 2016, April made a comeback with a second mini-album, named ‘Spring’. There are a total of six songs in the album, including their title track Tinker Bell. April Story is a fantasy-themed song from their third mini-album, ‘Prelude.’ there are nine tracks, including three of their previous title tracks, Dream Candy, Muah!, and Snowman. In this comeback, the group added two new members, Chae Kyung and Rachel. The official music video for April Story was released on January 3, 2017. The concept for this comeback still showed their innocent charms but has this soft, mature vibe, as well.
